Welcome to a quiet space for self-reflection. These terms govern your use of the app and its related services. By opening the app or creating a chart profile, you agree to these conditions. If you do not accept them, you may not access our services.

Anonymity and device-locked limitations

Account structure. We do not provision traditional accounts requiring an email address, phone number, or password. Your usage is anchored to an anonymous device-keyed token generated locally upon installation.

Hardware discontinuity. Because your data history, natal profiles, and any purchased query top-ups reside exclusively on the individual device that generated them, they do not automatically cloud-sync or migrate if you replace your phone or delete the application. Unlinked anonymous profiles that are lost due to hardware failure, manual app deletion, or factory resets cannot be recovered by our team, and any unspent consumable balances are permanently forfeited. Recurring App Store subscriptions are anchored to your global Apple ID and can be restored using native Apple frameworks.

Subscriptions, purchases, and consumables

Billing infrastructure. All financial transactions, subscription lifecycles, and payment processing are executed strictly by Apple Inc. via your Apple ID. We do not collect or manage your credit card or billing statements.

Consumable top-ups. You may purchase individual query top-up packs to expand your dialogue quota beyond the daily free threshold. These top-ups represent single-use, consumable digital assets. They are depleted dynamically as prompts are submitted to the AI backend and carry no cash value.

Refunds and cancellations. All sales of digital content, subscription terms, and query packages are final. Any requests for refunds, subscription cancellations, or billing adjustments must be handled directly through Apple App Store support frameworks and are subject to Apple's transactional parameters. We lack the structural capacity to issue direct financial refunds.

Nature of service and metaphysical disclaimer

Interpretative philosophy. The app utilizes advanced artificial intelligence models to analyze and interpret traditional BaZi charts, luck pillars, and historical Oracle lots. Astrological mappings are deeply historical, metaphorical, and highly subjective systems of traditional philosophy, not empirical data science.

No warranties. All deep readings, dialogues, responses, and prognostic context generated by the AI are provided strictly "as-is" for introspective, cultural, and meditative exploration. We make no legal warranties regarding the absolute historical accuracy, real-world utility, or definitive predictive outcome of any generated text.

No substitute for professional advisory. No output from this service constitutes legal, financial, medical, or psychological counsel. Users navigating severe personal or emotional distress must seek guidance from certified human practitioners; automated readings are never a replacement for professional clinical support.

If you are in crisis, please reach a qualified human. The app surfaces crisis-resource links when it detects relevant cues — use them.

Acceptable use and operational scope

You agree to interact with the interactive dialogue components in good faith. You are strictly prohibited from attempting to bypass query counters, reverse-engineering local chart calculation modules, script-automating questions, or injecting malicious programmatic queries designed to disrupt our server systems.

Intellectual property

The code architecture, design systems, specific interface typography layouts, custom brand stamps, and algorithmic prompt structures are the exclusive intellectual property of Boxuan Cui. The narrative outputs generated dynamically in response to your individual birth profiles belong to you for personal, non-commercial self-study.

Classical texts. The traditional BaZi works we draw on — 淵海子平, 子平真詮, 滴天髓, 三命通會 — are historical and in the public domain. Our selection, translation, and interpretation of those texts is our own work and is covered by our copyright.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable regional statutes, Boxuan Cui shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, psychological, or existential damages arising out of your choice to engage with the app, your interpretation of AI readings, or any temporary system service disruptions.

Termination

By you. Settings → Delete account & charts removes your data (device-local + server-side) and stops you from using the app. This is immediate and irreversible.

By us. We may suspend access from a device if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or if we are legally required to do so. Because the app is anonymous, our enforcement happens at the device level rather than at an account level.

Regional availability and compliance

This service operates via cloud nodes managed outside of mainland China. This application is explicitly not supported, commercialized, or intended for use within mainland China. Users accessing the app from other jurisdictions are entirely responsible for local digital compliance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Dispute resolution and arbitration

Informal reconciliation. If an operational issue or billing disagreement arises, you agree to contact us informally at [email protected]. We will dedicate 30 business days to reach an amicable solution before any formal legal escalation occurs.

Binding arbitration. If informal reconciliation fails, all remaining disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered under standard Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than public court litigation. Class actions, joint litigations, and group arbitrations are mutually waived.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will also post a notice in the app for active users. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
